My my my, I love/hate to see this kind of article. 3rd best after TB and KC? Hard to outright agree - but they make good points! While I don't want to turn this into a bash the HC (McCarthy or Garrett) thread.... the point is McCarthy has won a SB and has led dynamic offenses in GB year after year. From that side, I am confident. DQ has done it so well in Seattle, I am confident with him. KM is a wunderkind and I am confident in him.

Ohhhhhhhh boy the season is around the corner. GO COWBOYS!!

Wow did not expect this. And can't say I agree or disagree. Because I have not looked at all the other teams rosters. Nor will do so until they are set after Tuesday.

I am surprised though. Even though it came from a Dallas site.

They say it is from Bleacher Report, is that a Dallas site? If so, I didn't know. That would 'somewhat diminish' the enthusiasm. :omg:

I just seen where it was on Blogging the Boys. I missed the part about it being from BR. I just went back and looked again.
My bad.
So yeah, if BR is saying that, though I think some of their stuff is a bit to there. Then it is not homerism as I thought. :laugh:

It is like a 3rd party verifying something outside of the home team sites. :D
 
We will see soon enough. Maybe too early but really what I want to see is a competitive game. TB are the champs, uber talented, GOAT QB, if we can hold our own and produce a respectable showing that will be a fine start to the season W/L. That said, oh how I want a W!
 
LOL absolute nonsense. The names the listed defensively are laughable.
 
the article lost credibility when it gave credit to jaylon smith as a "mainstay" and said we had a stacked linebacker core...id say its improved from last year but i feel thats a bit much

some points I disagree with the article:

Our OLine is not elite. It’s barely above average
tyron is aging and Zack is aging. Lael is inconsistent and injury prone. only bright spot is QB and our WRs. Jarwin is questionable and Schultz is average. Zeke is aging and doesn’t have burst anymore. Dak is not 50% of the QB Rodgers is and let’s face it MM got carried all those years by Rodgers. He was once a good OC but he doesn’t even call plays anymore

defense? Jaylon is trash. LVE is injury prone. We have no DT. Demarcus is good but not great. Only bright spot is diggs, cox, parsons, and osa who the latter 3 have yet to play a regular season snap

I think we are top 7-8 in talent that plays like a top 20 team due to poor coaching and FO management

some teams that have better talent are LAR, ARI, GB, BUF,

Jaylon as your 4th maybe 5th linebacker is pretty stacked. Depth at WR, TE, IOL, DE, LB, CB, S is all pretty good despite the gnashing of teeth so prevalent here.
 
I don’t think we have the 3rd best roster
Just purely proven talent not rookie hype
Offense is talented
Defense not good at all

The offense, if healthy, is stacked, but the defense has a long way to go.
 
I will contend that the cowboys have the most talked about talent. Not the actual talent.

the locals have been talking about the cowboys roster and the high draft picks and talent for 9 months. Now with the games around the corner that “wait till you see these guys” fluff is meaningless. The team does not look much improved at all and the offensive line the best part of the team IMO looks to have turned the corner from stable to shaky and one injury could sink the whole offense.
 
I mean have you ever heard of a team keeping 6 DT’s and 6 safeties ? That’s how deep we are.

no BR is national sports news APP it reports all equally..not even cose to cowboys owned or managed site..
