You're right-- but the NYG predicate their entire gameplan on selling out to stop our ground game. This is a game where we probably want to pass to set up the run.

The NYG have had success clogging up the running lanes and putting Dak in 3rd and long situations.

We get some short/intermediate play action passes going-- get em off balance-- then mix in Zeke and use him progressively more throughout the game to wear them down.

Call me optimistic, but I think our defense will surprise some. I think we still give up a lot of passing yards, but I think we get Sack Eli more than a few times and pick him off at least once.

I say two interceptions and one sack/strip, 3 sacks altogether.

I have a feeling Dak and Zeke will be focused and ready to dish out some revenge tonight. Glad this one is at home and I'm looking forward to the offensive gameplan.

Defense? Not so much. Dak and Zeke can both do their thing and we could still lose if we don't shore things up in the secondary and get some steady pressure.

But in the end-- I think we make a statement and punch the Giants in the mouth.

In order to be the bully, you have to beat the bully.

I hate all our rivals in the NFCE-- but no one else talks as much as the NYG and in recent years we almost always open against them.

A physical, intimidating win would be the best way to start our season and put the rest of the NFL on notice.

I can't see the Giants scoring anything less than 24, they might even hit 30. If there's one thing I'm not worried about it's our offense, even with 2 new starters on the o-line. BUT, if we don't put up at least 31 I think we're in trouble.
