A little trades and trying to stick with invites for some of our picks: We trade #27 for #37 and #70, the Jets move up for a WR after getting Dupree at #6.
#37. Tevin Coleman RB Indiana
This guy has been mocked up into the late 1st but that was to blow smoke. His style will mesh with our ZBS and he will show us why is would've been on par with Gordon if they swapped colleges. Like nearly all RB pass pro and route running need work.
#60 Quinten Rollins CB UM-OH
A CB built for Marinelli's D. Quick and fast enough to cover his zone we'll in passing WR's off. Mental speed needs improvement, or he needs better confidence. Had caused 8 turnovers last year too.
#70. Grady Jarrett DT Clemson
The only negatives I can find with him are size related, but this boy can hustle and be pesky as a penetrator. I almost picked him at #60 too.
#91. Frank Clark DE Michigan
This guy is shooting up the boards either because of teams feeling his past is behind him or it is a smokescreen. But he produced when he was on the field regardless. Will fill our rotation during Hardys' suspension and help. If he is off our board substitute Trey Flowers.
#127. Max Valles LB Virginia
My pet cat. A poor man's Barr. Only two years experience but had 4 turnovers from his SLB spot in Virginia's 3-4. Also had 9 sacks.
#163. Austin Hill WR Arizona
Our Dwayne Harris replacement. Can play gunner and possibly KR. Had strong sophmore year, tore ACL in 2013 and down year with Freshman QB last year. Might be able to as a 7th or UDFA.
#237. Marcus Murphy RB Missouri
Replaces Dunbar as the electric RB and he had 7 return TD's in his 4 years at Mizzou.
#244. Craig Mager CB Texas State
Scrappy, tough man and off man CB who likes competition. Played ST coverage and was a PR during his 4 years of starting. Might go earlier to a bump and run defense.
