I'm not sold on Lawrence that early. The Cowboys really need a super quick WDE, IMO. Lawrence is more of a Selvie type that doesn't have elite quickness but uses his length well.

I would like to see Attaochu at that pick if available.

I really like 78 and 254.

Greatly dislike the 1st round pick. I don't think the Cowboys are going to draft any of the 3 you've tossed out there.

None of them are an exciting option as a #3 type DT. And a "run-plugging" #1 can be gotten later in the draft.

Brock Coyle, ILB

40 Time: 4.60 | Bench Reps: 25

Brock Coyle ran the 40-yard dash in 4.60 and 4.64 seconds at Montana’s Pro day. He had a 37-inch vertical jump and a 9′-7″ broad jump. He ran the short shuttle in 4.28 seconds and the three-cone drill in 6.74 seconds. Coyle — who has 32 1/2-inch arms — did 25 reps of 225 pounds on the bench press exhibiting lineman type strength. He looked fluid and technically sound in the drills. Brock Coyle is a smooth athlete

Brock Coyle has excellent instincts/read react skills and is always around the ball. Plays with passion, loves the game… Excellent power at the point… Good pop… Uses his hands well and does a nice job of shedding blocks… Gets through traffic well… Excellent lateral moving agility… Explosive in pursuit… Good closing speed… Brutal tackler who breaks down and wraps up with professional form… Not afraid to lay the wood… Good range and can play sideline to sideline… Takes good angles… Understands his assignments… High football IQ… Excellent leadership skills (Defensive Captain)…

Overall Brock Coyle is a well rounded linebacker with all of the intangibles scouts look for in a developmental player. He would make an immediate impact on special teams and would be a solid prospect to develop behind Sean Lee. Brock Coyle has the character and work ethic to develop in to a reliable starter at the next level. The worst case scenario, you have a solid backup LB and special teams ace for the minimal cost of a late round pick.

every one has there own opinion

The pass rush still remains the biggest need on this team and Timmy compliments Melton well as the 1 tech, but I believe he is athletic enough to play the 3 tech in the Tampa 2 as well. In all of my film study, Jernigan brought the most nasty to the game and that’s what this defense is lacking.

This team needs a big nasty DT that can collapse the pocket.

29. New England Patriots

(12-4) Demarcus Lawrence, DE, Boise State: The Patriots received solid play a year from starting defensive ends Chandler Jones and Rob Ninkovich but adding a speedier option to complement them would be wise. Lawrence's burst and versatility is likely to appeal to Bill Belichick

might not even have a chance at him

I wouldn't hate the pick... but I just think the Cowboys are thinking that way. They've said that they can get a #1 DT later on in the draft. And they signed McClain who they must be high on.

The good news is that a month from now we'll know the answer. :)

I see what you mean

so put him in the 2

that leaves open my 4

I still like Josh Mauro

I like the Attaochu pick. I think he could be a fine WDE in the Marinelli system.

I dont mind this draft at all. Jerrigan is a top player at his position.
I don't pay attention to the public statements of the OF during the lying season.
