BYU added ~5M a year to the media rights deal.
Large national and international following but also a later timezone and road to weestward expansion.
Easily best value of non-P5, non-ND schools.

UCF is a massive school in fertile Florida recruiting grounds. Have been very good in football.

Cincy was in the CFP just 18 months ago. Brings WVA travel partner and opens up Ohio recruiting.

Houston arguably is the least additive given what Big 12 already had but does bring a major school in a massive population center with enormous recruiting profile. --but Big 12 teams were already recruiting Houston hard.

These were quality adds and all 4 own massive potential for growth with the influx of media rights money. The big thing to watch will be hires. Can they go get brand builders.

Easier to have a high average power ranking with few members, but that's hard to do with 14-16 members.

It looks like they may have pulled that off too. Impressive

League was all but dead in 2010 and again in 2021.

But that death rattle galvanized foiks. These teams all invested big into sports programs in both basketball and football.
2-time defending PAC 12 champions and the last 2 Big 12 champions are in the new Big 12.
You do not have the helmet schools, but you are going to build a few that's certain now.
And none of the insane arrogance ACC is dealing with now.

Serious question of how SEC move helps or hurts those brands long-term.
