The Philadelphia Eagles have agreed to terms with rookie DT Mike Patterson, a first-round draft choice out of USC, on a five-year deal. Financial terms were not disclosed.

Jay Glazer, of FOXSports.com, reports the San Francisco 49ers have agreed to terms with rookie QB Alex D. Smith, the No. 1 choice in this year's NFL Draft. The six-year deal is worth $50 million and includes $24 million in bonus money.

ESPN.com's Len Pasquarelli reports the Oakland Raiders have reached an agreement in principle with rookie CB Fabian Washington on all of the key financial parameters of his rookie deal. Washington, out of Nebraska, was a first-round draft choice this year. He will receive a five-year deal. His agent, Brian Mackler, was en route to Oakland Monday, July 25, to finalize the deal as there were some details that needed to be complete
