A) @ Arizona
B) @ Philly
C) Hosting GB
D) Miss Playoffs, Garrett era begins

Ill go w/ C. Call me crazy but I still have some hope, Philly loses to Denver, Dallas beats Wsh and Philly(*whos really not great) and host GB round 1

*Not a bad matchup. Jenkins has the speed to cover their best player

Arizona is probably the most beatable team, so I'll take them, even in an away game.

If we win the division, we could a wild-card team other than the Packers, too.

I dont know if I want to play in that building on a Saturday night. It gets loud in there. Flo false starts, Dockett sacks Romo, 3 and 35, draw play to Barber, punt. 1st & 10 Ari at midfield, throw underneath to Boldin he breaks 11 tackles and scores.

Id like our chances getting GB indoors

Between Pitt, Sea, and maybe a meaningless game for Ari I dont know if they lose 2.

God. Give us Philly, in Philly. That would be awesome.

Why would they have to lose two? The Packers could win out, and we still could host another wild-card team.

Here's a nice little scenario (however unlikely) --

We'd host the 49ers in the first round.

If we somehow beat the Saints and the 49ers beat the Eagles this week, that very well could be on its way to happening.

That would make me so happy you have no idea.

And people are sleeping on SF and totally overrating Philly.

Give us a loss @ NO in the same scenario and see what happens. Yuck

We'd host the Packers. I wouldn't mind another shot at them.

I know, thats not a bad game for us to break the 13 year Jerry curse.

I meant the 3/6 matchup. Its SF @ Ari. Thats ugly.

I was looking for a Jersey Shore rerun during the 2ndQ of their MNF game.

I remember a day when we didn't care WHO we played - we had the "just line'em up" attitude and we played whoever got in our way. It speaks volumes that we're so concerned with who we play and where.

If we're good enough, we're good enough....if we're not............so be it. We have to go through the best at some point.

Speaks volumes about the fans, not the team.
I always want to see the best teams play in the playoffs, and I don't see the point of hoping to avoid the best teams. Plus, I'd like nothing better than to get revenge on Philly.

Arizona has a two game lead with some tough games coming up, not to mention that they are tied for the 3rd spot with Philly right now. I don't think they have much room for "meaningless" games lol

Wait, did I just call Det and StL tough games? :laugh2:

Absoluetly! I think they have as good a shot as Denver the following week. In fact I find it interesting that so many give the Eagles little chance of losing one of these games.

I'm no expert, but it lay it out like this:
2-0 - 55%
1-1 - 40%
0-2 - 5%

Would have been better for us is Arizona won on Monday, giving them an incentive to win against the Packers and keeping the pressure on the Vikings to win against the Giants. Oh well.......
