4 RBs, 4 TEs, and no FB...or Polite at FB, and 3 of one of the others

Myself, I think Polite needs to stay, he's smart, and he's going to contribute IMO. It wouldn't hurt my feelings to go with just 3 TEs and keep 4 RBs... TE should be a lock with Witten, Campbell, and a backup... I'm guessing Ryan...

JJ, A-train, and TT have done really good things this pre-seson, but I just think Barber would do the Cowboys a good job just a little bit further down the road this season due to the other 3 RB's contributions and them being healthy through camp. Chalk up 4 RBs for me.

Any combination of tight ends will include Jeff Robinson.

I think we go 3 TB and 1 FB, I think Barber gets cut but I hope he can go make it to the PS and I think Polite makes club being the only FB on the roster.

I think they're talking about Robinson as kind of the hybrid... just a plain old long snapper LS... I also thought the two TE's after Witten and Campbell were Ryan and the other kid Pierce... Tony Curtis probably wont be here after the final cut...

Barber wont stay on the practice squad long, I guarantee that, if he even makes it to the PS.

I think Jeff gets cut. The new snapper has been doing a good job. Jeff is just to pricey to keep for snaps. I know. We went through this when Helly left. It might come back n haunt us again. Who knows. Still think Jeff gets cut.

Parcells said Pierce has earned a spot on the team in his PC.

When asked about Ryan he seemed upset. Ryan is toast, but I think he's PS eligible.

Robinson is a proven commodity at tight end during passing situation in the red zone. I don't see Parcells straying from that deceptive advantage soon. And after hearing all the chatter about how Parcells loves Pierce's receiving ability, I believe that Ryan may be on his way out.

As I see it, he will keep four tight ends: Witten, Campbell, Robinson and Pierce.

That's the old argument resurfacing, "Why keep Robinson if he is only a longsnapper"? He isn't unless Parcells doesn't use him as a tight end in special passing situations as Robinson has been used during his career. If Parcells will not gameplan for Robinson in those situations, I agree--he will be cut.

I bet Bill is upset.

He was counting on Sean, said so in a pc shortly after the Spears; injury..that there were 'things' he couldn't get done in preseason with two players he was 'counting on' hurt.

One was Ryan..I think Bill really really REALLY wants two te sets..and the blocking personnel of Campbell and Tuna coupled with Jason and Witten as the receiving threats.

Robinson is a non-issue in this, because even if we cut him for Condo, we still don't save a roster spot, because all Condo can do is long snap.

Robinson, while limited at TE, does much more for us there than Condo will do at LB.

Robinson's gone. Good call, Aardvark.
