Next week, if Philly loses, Minnesota wins, Dallas wins, and the 49ers win today and next week.....

That's 4 teams at 13-4.

And San Francisco would get the No. 1 seed.

But Dallas would be the 2 seed.

Wow.

lol

Because why

Because most likely the Giants won't give a crap about the game. They will likely bench (or just give a series or two) to their starters, especially those who have been battling injuries.

I thought the Eagles would push the Saints around today and they didn't. But the Saints played everyone and had something to play for.

Now if Daboll decides he'd rather stay on a roll than rest players AND the Eagles are sandbagging on Hurts and hold him out again, then maybe, the Giants can win. But both those scenarios seem unlikely.

Giants will go all out and try to beat the Eagles. Winning against them will change that team and that organization completely.

giants don't really have the "luxery" of sitting back and resting like some top seed. You better play and get some positive momentum. A blowout loss to philly wouldn't serve them well my homer rooting interests aside.

Seattle, GB, and Detroit all at 8-8 right now GB plays Detroit so one of them is gone.

Seahawks are win and in.

So the 5th seed gets Brady on hos home field, and the 2 seed gets Rodgers on their home field. Crikey.

Technically, his statement is accurate. He made no predictions. If Philly loses, and 4 teams finish 13-4, San Fran gets the #1 seed.

I am guessing you also laughed when opposing fans said, "If Philly loses to New Orleans".

I would’ve if I knew Hurts was starting, but no…I never have had faith in Minshew

Look, I suppose there’s the chance NY doesn’t rest their starters next week…I just doubt it

Giants are 100% going to try to win this. Brian Daboll is trying to change the culture of the Giants

Tom Coughlin made his team play in 2007 the final week vs New England and it payed off when they played them again knowing they could stand in there with an all time team and won. Daboll could take that approach or he could realize that they have a real shot to go to minnesota and and win which would then send them to Philly.

This giants team can beat philly if hurts is not playing. The eagles looked very pedestrian on the offensive line today. So do the giants basically hold guys out and just treat it like a pre season game knowing they might be coming back to philly in a few weeks or do they try and win the game and take the division away from Philly. New York knows it can not score with Dallas and will have all kinds of problems with sf. Their best path at a shot is philly being the 1 seed.

I'm sure the Giants remember how the eagles played them a few years back and want a little revenge

Why don't you go ahead and start calling to sit the starters now, I'm sure it's coming.

I know we can't do that, but Brady and the Bucs are already ONLY preparing for Dallas for the next two weeks.

I hope we scoreboard watch, and if Philly goes up big early, pull everybody of importance.

Everything is becoming painfully apparent today....had we done anything in FA at WR, we would with 100% certainty be the #1 seed right now....Booger and Chuckles really crapped the bed.
That’s rediculous it’s the defense that’s needing help. Keep looking for a wr when we need defensive backs and run stopping line

Todd Bowles as a defensive coordinator/head coach has never lost to Dallas.(sans 2012 when he was the secondary coach under juan castillo in philly) I imagine he loves beating Dallas since Jerry deemed him unworthy of even being a coordinator under Garrett.

so for whatever reason that defense under bowles knows how to play the Dallas offense.

It’s all designed to maximize the profits of the 2%ers. Green Bay was crap, Tampa too. Now, all of a sudden both Brady and Rodgers are back, the “invincible” Eagles have lost two straight, and the losers are suddenly winners. Game times at the end of the year are TBD, and they’re mostly decided in the 4th quarter. Parity, so teams like Carolina can sell tickets and swag in late December and January!
