We'll not exactly, but assuming the Browns thought that the Cowboys were only going to have three wide receivers active for the game, maybe it was the plan of the Cowboys to wait until Saturday to bring in the 4th WR, even though he had been practicing as the 4th WR all week. I'm sure teams prepare for this, but this might be similar to what other teams do in regards to "exaggerating" on the injury list.

Didn't have to be a smart *** about it. I doubt anyone thought that Tyree was going to be the Giants secret weapon. Besides, I'm not talking about a specific player my friend; I'm talking about game planning and a scheme.

What's especially good for the Boys here is Felix Jones. Doesn't matter how much he's actually involved in the passing game, but the Browns will have to respect his speed. If Jones splits out, or is in the slot, they'll have to put a corner on him--there's not a linebacker in the league who can run with him. That alone should put somebody in single coverage.

I'm quite sure the Browns would love this, as most likely Jason Witten wouldnt be on the field.

Brilliant!

In general the less personnel information you give out, the better. Keeping a player on the practice squad until the last possible moment is definitely not a game-changer, but it's just good practice.

Less than a tenth of an inch? That's just fog here in the Northwest.

we waited until Saturday b/c that gives us a better shot at getting Marten on the PS. Jefferson may get the axe on Monday to make room for a QB.
