13-3, swept the Giants during the season. Watched it all go by the wayside in the Divisional Playoffs as the Giants made a miracle run to glory. Oh yeah, we had 13 Pro Bowlers too.

Lucky number 13 for franchise #13.

I literally cried that day. Make fun all you want but I was devastated. I live in ny too so that may have made it worse but still one of the worst losses in our history

I was numb about the loss for a little while afterwards. Couldn't believe that season ended that way.

It doesn't rank in the top 5 losses I've seen in my lifetime though. I've had much more painful losses than that one.

I too live in New York & I was miserable that day too and I was bummed out for the first half of that week. When we got swept by the Giants this year, I was bummed out but I was more upset in 07 because of what was at stake. That was the year my hate for the Giants grew.

Man....that lost hurt, I just knew we would beat them in that game.

Yeah that loss hurt. But I kind of seen it coming. T.O. got hurt before the season ended and even though he used his chamber or whatever it was. He still wasn't 100 percent for that game. And why we tried to rush Terry Glen back for that game when we had Austin or Hurd who could have played is a mystery to me.

2006 hurt worse for me. We had both of them receivers healthy. We could of steam rolled through the playoffs. But we went conservative like Bill loves to play.

I agree 100%. These losses to the giants this year haven't hurt as much as the ones in years past. But does anybody realize they took out two of our stars the last two years ? Tony and demarco. We need some payback next year.....

It was a great regular season, but that loss was a tough one.

My lasting memory of that game was how the Dallas OL simply wore out. They (the Dallas OL) had dominated earlier in the game, but they lacked endurance and just couldn't sustain it.

In hindsight, that game signaled that the OL was in need of a rebuild.

You have bring up that again ! dont you ? :(

Thanks Hos. Why don't you just give me a nice paper cut and pour lemon juice on it? :)

That loss is going to stick in my craw for a while.

Probably until we get a chance to knock off the Giants in the playoffs.

I could see that one and done coming a mile away. After the Cowboys beat the 10-1 Packers in that late season showdown they began to fold tent looking ahead to the playoffs. Wade started patting all his players on the back and the team became complacent. The Cowboys struggled the following week against a 2 win Lions team and the roof fell in against Philly the next week.

Romo's game had fallen apart and the team was going down with him. By the season finale against Washington the Cowboys weren't half the team they were a few weeks earlier. While the Cowboys were on the decline the Giants were on the rise peaking at just the right time. The rest is history.

2007 - the missed opportunities. 13 oveverrated probowl selections/replacements

What stuck in my mind was totally dominating the first half only to have our defense allow a bomb to Kevin boss in the final minute o the second quarter make our lead one possession I believe

Says the 17 year old. :laugh2:

What does my age have to do with it? That's why I said most gut wrenching loss I've ever experienced.

Must've killed him when "Mighty Morphin Power Rangers" was canceled.

He wasn't canceled and I never watched it anyway. Try again.
