Always some player in a later round or even a UDFA becomes a very good player. Want to take some guesses who they could be from this 2017 draft? Not the highly rated players but someone who comes out of nowhere to surprise.

QB CJ Beathard Iowa

Beathard is related to former GM Bobby Beathard he plays in a pro style offense is big enough and has a good arm.

RB
Marlon Mack South Florida

Overlooked not being from a premeire school also a talented RB class

WR
Kenny Golliday Northern Illinois

Small college and in the same conference with Corey Davis. All the love for Davis but Golliday could become a player too.Tall and fast

TE
Johnathan Dorsey Alabama A&M
Tall 6ft-6inches,235 lbs ran a 4.6 at his pro day. Crowded TE class

OL
Jylan Ware Alabama State
Tall at 6ft-7inches,298 lbs. needs to be kept in the weight room but he has good feet ran a 4.97 forty at his pro day.

Defense on the next post from me

As a big 10 fan I'll be pretty shocked if CJ Bethard ever throws an NFL pass. Crazy things have happened (Matt McGloin somehow found a spot in the NFL), but there's not a whole lot about Bethard to actually like imo. Very mediocre skills across the board

DE
Hunter Dimick Utah
Similar to TJ Watt but he is stronger and faster. Gets no love but had double digit sacks in 2016

DT
Dylan Bradley Southern Mississippi
All he does is make plays. He is constantly in the opponents backfield and doesn't take plays off. If his size was more ideal he would be a high rated draft pick.

LB
Ukeme Eligwe Georgia Southern
This guy is a Florida State player. He can play but might be overlooked.

CB
Jomal Wiltz Iowa State
Small but he is fast ran a 4.43 forty at his pro day. He also has been returns. Nickel most likely next level.

S
Donald Payne Stetson
I keep preaching this guy,but 3rd in NCAA history in tackles ran a 4.55 forty

Some nice work here, well done. I like Beathard as a developmental guy but I prefer Seth Russell myself. But I love the Jylan Ware pick and I'd like to take a shot with him a shot well. I love Tyron Smith, but given his back issues in 2016, I wouldn't mind having a contingency plan down the line. I think Ware has the skills to develop into a nice zone scheme tackle.

I don't know that I would call him a sleeper but I have a feeling that Corn Elder is going to end up one of the better corners in this draft. His size will most likely relegate him to a slot role but I like the kid (especially as a replacement for Oscan). If we could nab him from the 4th down, I'd be pretty happy with the pick.

I like Hunter Dimick as a SDE option, especially for next year when I expect Lawrence to move on and Crawford to be either playing inside or gone as well. I would like to have the room to add someone like him with an eye toward the future. I think he's being underrated too.

The only thing that spooks me a bit on him is the Nate Orchard deal. Orchard put up very good numbers at Utah as well but hasn't done much of anything at the NFL level. A generalization to be sure, but one small factor that gives me pause.
