Who is this on BP? I think it has to be.
Those are his only 2 negative marks, really, and you can't even blame a coach for kickers. Not too shabby.YoMick said:Who is this on BP? I think it has to be.

We can't run block against 8 man fronts. String BP up.

How anyone can look at the line's pass blocking, and be anything less than thrilled is beyond me. God forbid we can't open running lanes when our Oline is outnumbered by the defenders in the box. Go ahead and let them do that when we're running all our hosses out there.
Cogan said:For one, could you touch up on your grammar? I could hardly figure out what you were asking. Number two, we DO have one of the greatest kickers of all time, and we paid a lot of money to bring him here. What, he misses two FGs in OT of a PRESEASON game, and he's suddenly worthless? Man, some of you really have NO patience what so ever. This player just came back from a leg injury, (which sometimes affects a kicker...haha).
Third & lastly, this offensive line is getting better all the time. It went up against one of the best four defensive linemen in all of football, and gave up zero sacks! They've given up 3 sacks all preseason. I would say that is an improvement over last year. The RT position is solid, & will remain so for a long time, provided Columbo stays healthy. LT is going to be manned by a two-time Pro-Bowler, very hungry to get his third. Gurode finally gets it, so our Center position is finally solid for the first time in years, with a veteran backup. The OG position is going to be stronger than last year, with a much healthier Marco Rivera, and either Proctor or Kosier much younger & flexible than LA was his last year.
What mistakes Parcells has made with high OL picks such as Rogers, Peterman, and maybe Johnson, he has more than made up for them with low picks & FAs such as Columbo, McQuistan, Petitti, Rivera, Kosier, and Proctor. Looks like he may have even finally got a quality first day pick in Gurode!
With most prognosticators choosing the 'Boys to go deep into the playoffs, I see no reason to nit-pick BPs choices. After all, no team goes without it's busts, no matter who is doing the picking.
