There's 2 sides to that opinion. Since Purdy is $40 million cheaper than Dak, doesn't it help him that his team has $40 million more to spend on a supporting cast. Dak is getting it done with a lot less help. See, we can spin it too.

True though It is not as simple as that , Brody could turn into Brady like , but at this point he is by product of what SF has around him, #1 D which doesnt allow more than 20 points , CMC, Debo, Kittle , fine OL and now Elijah Also .

Dak was a bargain for us for five years. If Purdy continues to play well he’s going to cost them a lot of money eventually. It could be sooner rather than later if they end up reaching or winning the Super Bowl this season. I really don’t know what point you’re trying to make because eventually you have to pay a QB. We got lucky with Dak his rookie year and they’ve gotten lucky with Purdy.
