Funniest movie I've seen in a good long while. Warning this movie is not for kids or the ladies really. I went to see it with a couple of friends who are girls and they thought it was nasty, but I almost shed a tear at a couple of scenes. Steve Carrell is one of the funniest men alive. If you want to laugh, go watch this movie. It will not disappoint.

I went to the movies last week and was choosing between that and "Wedding Crashers" and I chose the latter.

Wedding Crashers is funny but I still wanna see the 40-year old...

Yeah I saw Wedding Crashers as well. It's funny, but it can't touch 40 year old. Well IMO.

The writers sucked in it . . .

They had no good lines . . .

Whenever they wanted to make people laugh, they would just start dropping F-bombs and other vulgar language.

And it was entirely too long.

I expected it to be as funny as Something About Mary or Old School . . . but I was sorely disappointed.

This movie is on my things-to-do list. I love Steve Carell! I've watched him since his days on the Daily Show and his new TV show, The Office. He is one funny dude! I'm glad he has hit it big in Hollywood with this #1 movie, he deserves it.

To each his own I guess...The thing with Mary and OS was that I didn't see them in theater's so I had people telling me about it, and when I finally saw both films nothing really caught me by surprise.

I thought this film was extremely funny.
Maybe not the lasting classic like Old School but very good nonetheless.

It was slightly more mature than old school and I wouldn't say you have to keep the wife away from it the way you should old school. It was a less mean funning on guys then old school which was a brutal commentary on middle aged men.
