I just had an old Carson show on(it had Dennis Hopper on it) Johnny cracked wise about believing ELVIS was still alive and came out of hiding to collaborate on a Nat King Cole album,,,,ya,I didn't get it either.

...I remember I was on my way to work on a very hot afternoon...and I heard about it on the radio...radio stations basically played mostly Elvis tunes for two days straight!...It also is the anniversary of the "Elvis Death Hoax."

Just read the Wiki account of his life and death, including the accounts of his drug use. If what I read is true, the latest theory about the cause of his demise is certainly not fit for a king. Sad.

He did manage to die on the throne, though. So there's that.
