Oh I don't want him on the team. I was just speaking about those lame voters making a player of his caliber wait. Shined light on a flawed process.
The HOF voting process was flawed decades before Owens was up for first-ballot enshrinement.

How is Owens' eye-to-hand coordination? Speed is an asset but a receiver must still be consistent catching passes.

Dude's almost 50 and still looking for a football gig. It's over. Meanwhile, Dez is about 15 years younger and has already moved on to another career.

TO doesn't have a plan B, which happens to some athletes. I just hope he's managed his finances well because he doesn't seem to know what to do next.
Is he looking for a football gig or is he just showing off his athletic prowess? I didn't get that from this tweet it was anything but a race.

That's pretty amazing. I know it doesn't prove that he could still play in the NFL, but I do at least wonder if it's possible. Could some of our pre-conceived notions be false? I would not have thought that Tom Brady would still be playing at his age.

Heck, we once gave out a roster spot based on a reality competition, so why not give TO a shot --would be just as entertaining.

I don't doubt he can play WR in the NFL. At that size and speed he would be a nightmare for any CB to cover as he always was. With TO it was never his physical skill that was the problem, it was everything else attached to that physical skill that made it so problematic.

What people don't realize that it's not one time speed that goes as you age.. It's recoverability.. meaning can you do it 40 times in a game? When I was in my 40's and training at the track 3-4 days a week I could still run sub 4.5 ... once.. then I would need oxygen.. No way in hell could I put pads on and do it 100 times in a practice 3-4 days a week and then another 30-40 times in a game.. T.O. may not know it yet.. but Father Time is undefeated.

I have a hard time believing this was a 4.48. He didn't even blow out the guy running while holding a camera with an extended arm.

Look at the link below. This one claims the same sprint was 4.38 rather than 4.48. It provides a different angle, and it's even more clear that TO didn't run away from the guy holding the camera with the extended arm.

Even so, the man is 12 years removed from playing the game. People need to let this go.

Yeah, but how's his endurance? Running a 4.48 is impressive, but he still needs to be able to run about 4 miles non stop to last a whole NFL season. JMO.
