Let me start by saying that going to my first Cowboys game that I am still on cloud 9. I arrived at the game about 10 and met up for a few moments with fellow Cowboy Zoners BigDfan5 and DJ Doug. Thanks to those two for swinging by to say hello to an out of state fan.

It started for me on Saturday night with at the team hotel. We made the drive over to the team hotel. There were a few players that didn't come to the fence and sign anything. But most stayed out for a few minutes for the crowd that was there. Witten arrived and signed for a couple of minutes and then said he'd be back after he checked in, true to his word he came back and signed for about 10 more minutes. As I stated the other day, for as much grief as Crayton gets on boards, he was out there for a good 20 minutes or more signing. Also signing for the fans were Gurode, Procter, Thomas, RW#11, Ratliff, Bradie James, and a few others. DWare was there before I arrived so I missed him. Also TNew was there, but was leaving just I arrived there.

The game was an awesome experience, even though I was way up in the rafters(almost). I hadn't been to any NFL games since my youth(though its a technicality as I saw the Bungles play). I definitely got a different perspective seeing the plays open up in the stadium than on television. I do have some photos that I'm working on getting moved over to photobucket, but I've had a busy couple of days so I haven't really had the time so it will probably have to wait until I get back to Dayton.

I took the stadium tour early Monday morning which was cool. Though I hated that the crowd was so big. They were already starting to set up the stage and set for Thanksgiving, so the field was not completely accessible. Also Everson Walls was by the pro shop signing pictures and taking pictures with fans.

Finally today, its been a relaxing day. I did however go to Randy White's BBQ in Frisco. The food was extremely good. Fortunately, just as I was about to leave the Manster was about to arrive so we got a heads up from our waitress. I had the football in the trunk from the team hotel and he graciously agreed to sign my football and take a photo. Great guy!! I would have liked to have talked with for a few more minutes, but he was meeting some folks for a business meeting.

I am definitely going to miss the weather. Big difference between near 70 degree weather and the 30 degrees and snow flurries that I'm going to be headed back to on the drive tomorrow.

doesn't it seem so slow in person?

Heck no!! I was on the edge of my seat the whole time. I tried soaking in everything. I had only been there once prior and that was on a tour back in the 90's. It was summer time so there weren't any games and I am fairly sure the team was down in Austin if I remember correctly.

I tell you what, those are easy compared to these TX roads. It takes a bit to try and get used to getting off of the highway onto an access road instead of an off ramp. Actually I think that I more worried about the Ohio and its crappy weather. My sister said she had a light coating of snow on the ground this morning....

People in Texas are a different breed of Drivers.

Dude, its not the driver's I had problems with. Most of them when they took a look at the out of state tags were kind when I figured out at the last second that I needed to get over in the turn lane that it didn't tell me before I got up on the turn. I think the person/people that designed the roads here need to be pimp slapped. The driver's do what they have to do, they just know how to navigate those disaster areas already.

I'm finally home and did get to catch this game today so the photos will be a bit old for some. I'm just going to upload a few up here and send the rest over to photobucket. I apologize in advance if they are too big on here. I didn't think about sizing them smaller than screen size. I guess I should have done that prior to posting them. I haven't yet uploaded my photos from the team hotel, nor have I uploaded my meeting of The one and only Manster. A great guy.

I knew you would have a great time DC.

I'm jealous.

Man, I hated coming home. Loved the weather, loved the fact that there was Cowboy stuff everywhere I went. Heck, I think I could even get used to the access roads off the highways. But to paraphrase Pacman. I had to come back to Dayton, dude.
