Do players not read thier contracts? I can't believe he didn't know about the clause.

San Francisco 49ers cornerback Tarell Brown will lose $2 million of his 2013 salary because he lacked knowledge of a clause in his contract that required him to participate in the 49ers’ offseason workout program. He had been working out in the offseason at his home in Texas instead of at the 49ers’ facility in Santa Clara, Calif.

Lol. Yeah, I'd fire my agent, too.

I hate lawsuits, but firing that agent does not seem like enough.
2 million dollars lost and the guy will make 900k total this year.
More than 65% of pay gone for no reason.

The silver lining for him is that he's been playing very well, will be a free agent after this season, and stands to get a good NFL payday next year barring injury.
