49ers offensive coordinator Mike Martz doesn't expect rookie receiver Josh Morgan (groin) to play anytime soon.

"That was a pretty significant injury," Martz said. "I'm not sure we're going to get him back in the near future." Morgan may have torn the muscle. Bryant Johnson will be San Francisco's starting split end until he returns. Johnson will be worth a look in the right matchups, but as no more than a WR3.
