Cowboys reporters saying what Broncos fans heard about Javonte Williams

I don't know. I just thought it was interesting to present a Broncos fan's perspective of what's being said here about Williams. This fan doesn't seem to have anything against the player, just essentially said what's being said now is the same that has been said the past two years.

He is further removed from his injury, so maybe he'll be able to do better here than he did there.
All comes down to whether he has regained his burst and agility. Nothing else matters w/ him.

I saw Javonte as a quick, not fast, tough runner, so I didn't see him as a fast type RB. Gotta run a 4.4 for me or your slow as a RB, to me. I hope he shows up as a good inside runner behind the 3 iOL of the Cowboys.
Yup, he wasn't downfield fast, but he was very quick to the hole. Key word, was.

Being a tough runner is much more important than downfield speed.

I think we did some nice things this off season. At CB we’ve added a nice player to help us till we get healthy there and got a nice rookie. We didn’t get a beast run stuffer but we’ve added some talent at DT and draft another big guy to develop. Pickens obviously got the hype but as a whole they made some good moves
Not sure "talent" is accurate.

Due to what he used to be I understand why they might want to kick the tires and see what he has however I'd be shocked if he isn't just this years Royce Freeman.

And Freeman was coming off a better year than Williams.

Estime and McLaughlin both averaged more than 4.0, though, and McLaughlin had almost as many carries as Williams. So even if the line wasn't great, the other two backs were better behind it.

Maybe better, but never to the point of getting sustained carries. Denver never had a true answer at rb with anyone. So yeah I dont know about their #1 run blocking rating.

To be clear im not necessarily convinced in Javonte, but I dont trust Denver either.

I don't know. I don't watch Denver, but his average being worse than the other two backs can't be blamed on the line. Same way with Sanders in Carolina. Both teams had backs who fared better with what they were given.

That doesn't mean they won't do better here, just that there's plenty of reason to be skeptical.
