Would be nice if true, but it seems doubtful.

Why would veterans care who they practice against? Most teams practice against somebody in the preseason like the Cowboys/Raiders.

It's Rappaport so I really don't know.

But it's not the first time I've heard of issues within the 49ers and Harbaugh.

They'd be stupid to let a good coach like that get away.

He's a great coach but I can see how a personality like that can wear out his welcome after a while.

There's a certain window for situations like that.

He'll be out in SF at some point fairly soon (not even sure success or failure moving ahead has much to do with it at this point), sit out a year, be the hottest name on the market the following off-season, then probably have success in turning around another franchise.

I hope no one expects it's going to be this one. The stadium may be able to fit the Statue of Liberty inside of it, but in no way could hold the ego/personality of Harbaugh and Jerry at the same time.

I don't think he's going anywhere but yea he's high high maintanence.

Jerry couldn't handle that probably. You know a coach getting credit. He wants the trainee.

So we don't have to put up with the 50,000 threads of Harbaugh to the Cowboys.....cool....

Hey I have no control over threads. I, myself, cannot imagine why any Cowboys fan wouldn't want a good coach like Harbaugh. But wanting & getting are 2 different things.

I don't know who runs the Niners but they need to keep him. Maybe he wants out. I don't know.

Oh, I wouldn't mind Harbaugh here at all. But I would rather win with Garrett now, than wait around for another coach. I don't think Garrett is going anywhere, nor do I think Harbaugh will leave SF.
I think both get an extension, even if for a year. If either would accept a year.

I'm not a Jason fan & I hope he's going...going...gone.

You're right though. He'll be back too I think.

And no doubt Jerry could not handle Harbaugh. He's kind of like a tall Jimmy. Really strong personality.

I wouldn't mind his brother in Dallas either.

Jim Harbaugh would be on my shortlist of coaches I'd want to be in Dallas. The timing would be perfect with Garrett in his last year.

Not going to happen...as he would have less control here than in San Francisco.
