News: 49ers GM John Lynch Likes Tweet Calling Jimmy Garoppolo Trash

Here is the really sad thing about this story.

John Lynch literally left the church and then told a bald-faced lie. I am sure this is not what Jesus would have wanted, and let’s be honest, Jesus knows that Jimmy G has some limitations.

It all started when someone noticed Lynch had liked a tweet that said the 49ers should have left Jimmy G in Nashville after the 49ers lost to the Titans.

Funny thing is Jimmy G is probably better than Lance will ever be. This GM gave up 3 firsts for Lance when he could have had Mac Jones.

49ers Lynch has no other choice than Lance and no way to add talent in the 1st round.

Garoppolo had an awful game....joining every other starter this year in having at least some awful games.

For the year, he certainly hasn't been great, but he has been above average.

11th in QBR
16th in TDs-Turnovers differential

So not great, but not awful....though he had some awful games.

You have to wonder what these GMs are thinking sometimes. How do you trade three first round picks for a QB that isn't NFL ready? Everyone in the country knew he wasn't NFL ready. It might work out, but I'm not sure I would have traded three first rounders with the hope the player develops into a good QB in the future.

This is bizarre. Jimmy G is defintely not top 5 material, but he's not trash either. If the organization hates him so much, they should just trade him and go with that kid they gave up three number one picks for. With those picks gone, they could use some picks in exchange for Jimmy G, granted they won't get any #1s.
