I think it is BS wrapped in lies and sprinkled with latrine marinade.
1966-1985 Dallas didn't have a losing season. Won more games in the 70s than any other team including the Steelers. Five Super Bowl appearances. Numerous division titles, the lone NFC team to win a Super Bowl in an AFC dominated decade.
1992-1996, the second Cowboy dynasty basically whooped up on the 49ers of the 80s on two separate NFC Championship occasions. Montana watched from the sidelines in 1992 but don't tell me he was better than league MVP Steve Young at that time.
1993 Dallas guaranteed victory over the team of the 80s and smashed them as promised.
1994 Niners set out to buy a team to beat Dallas, mission accomplished after huge Dallas turnover and injury turmoil, Dallas was still 5 minutes of forgetable football away from a three -peat.
1995 Dallas wins an un prescedented 3 out of 4. NFL record 8th Super Bowl appearance, Dallas extended their own record which they orginally held at 6.
2006 Dallas prepares to make a record 9th Super Bowl appearance and take home an unmatched 6th title.
Look at their franchise's overall best compared to Dallas:
Tom Landry, Jimmy Johnson, Barry Switzer (say what you want but he won), Bill Parcells.
vs.
Bill Walsh, George Seifert, Steve Mariucci, Mike Nolan.
Don Meredith, Roger Staubach, Danny White, Troy Aikman, Tony Romo (he's legit)
vs.
John Broady, Joe Montana, Steve Young, Jeff Garcia, Alex Smith.
Bob Hayes, Drew Pearson, Tony Hill, Michael Irvin, Terry Glenn, Terrell Owens
vs.
Dwight Clark, Freddie Solomon, John Taylor, Jerry Rice, Terrell Owens, Antonio Bryant.
Mike Ditka, Billy Joe DuPree, Doug Cosbie, Jackie Smith, Jay Novacek, Jason Witten
vs.
Brent Jones, Vernon Davis.
Etc... Etc... You get the idea, in almost every way they are a shade below Dallas, they matchup favorably in many ways historically but did so in a smaller window than Dallas ever has.
This is the lone decade that Dallas has not played in at least two conference championships, an NFL record of marvelous consistency.
