actually he looked far worse...alot of coaches might not have even kept him after that first training camp...he was horrendous

he has developed nicely, but when he was a rookie he was hopeless

David
I don't know. I didn't see him play. It's hard to play much worse than Cutler unless you just run over to the defender and personally hand the ball to him.

Cutler's a rookie...he has looked bad and good, thats what rookie QB's do for the most part

Romo really needed alot of work and seasoning when we got him...I remember thinking for his first two yrs that he didn even resemble a clip board carrying backup type talent, let alone a guy headed for the probowl

they've done a good job with him...he still needs more though

The story is more about Shanahan than Cutler anyway.

Should they lose today or next week (if they play) it will ensure that in 7 of the last 8 seasons they havent won a playoff game.

I agree that he needs more work. I hope he (and a good QB coach) continues to work as hard as he has in the past. If so, he sky's the limit.

The Cutler comment was a joke. I know he's a rookie, but he's looked downright terrible at times this season. It probably would have been better for Denver to give him a year of clipboard holding.

his numbers are pretty good and when I have watched him he is really impressive in terms of his arm strength and accuracy...he had twice as many tds as ints and thats amazing for a rookie...also had a QB rating of almost 90.0 going into todays game

he is gonna be good
