This may have been discussed already.. but I was just watching the quick highlights of the 49er preseason game on dallascowboys.com and the last touchdown run by the 49ers just about made me sick and I can only hope that the players were trying not to get hurt because on that one play I saw three things that reminded me of last year..

1. Carpenter gets blown off the ball and is still moving backwards when the ball carrier reaches him

2. Ken Hamlin is left with a one on one tackle and barely gets a his arms around the guy and then gets dragged 5 yards into the endzone. Looked like the same ISO that Baltimore ran at him

3. Mike Jenkins has the chance to come up and hit the ball carrier while Hamlin has a hold of him and mysteriously whiffs

I won't bother mentioning Brown not attacking the play.

It was just sad all around.

I don't think K. Hamlin was in at the end of the game, though I could be wrong. I'm pretty sure that was Watkins actually.

Ahh.. yes.. it was hard to tell the 25 and 26 apart.. I believe it was Watkins, thanks.

Then I guess it was only two bad things.. but I guess when you all the backups get blown off the ball these things are bound to happen in preseason.

I guess we already know that Carpenter is a passing down only LB.

I thought guys that could cover and not tackle were cornerbacks?

I'm not sure if Carpenter was in the game or not, but Jenkins and Hamlin were not in the game.

The CB's for alot of the 4th qtr were Mickens and Brown.
