Last year they were the better team for sure. This year, I felt like we schemed right on the defensive side to win, Dak + KM let us down.

More deserving because in an evenly matched defensive effort game, a rookie QB did not turn the ball over whereas Dak turned it over twice, resulting in a net 9-point loss for Dallas who lost the game by 7.
I had 11 point net loss. :p

I would. I just can't see a rookie, who doesn't even have a full NFL season under his belt, going through an NFC Championship game AND a Super Bowl. That's a lot of pressure. What the Niners have done is impressive, no doubt, but they're definitely playing with house money right now.

If they do win it all, I'll eat crow and be impressed. It'd be a story for the history books.
Right

No Rookie QB has ever won a Super Bowl.

While I could see SF knocking off the Egirls , I’d definitely be looking for Cinn or KC to win SB.

The reason I like SF chances more in Champ game than in SB is because they are a more seasoned overall playoff team than the Egirls.

But both Cinn and KC have been here before and I’d expect to roll in SB with Elite QB’s.

This will be the 49ers 3rd NFC Championship game in 4 years . No doubt the more proven and established team in recent years than the Cowboys.

And they have won 12 games in a row now rolling with 7 games in a row since Purdy took over after Jimmy G went down.

They have the #1 defense in the NFL and Star talent at the key positions on offense . Only weakness or question mark is a Rookie QB who was last pick in the draft.

No Rookie QB has ever won the Super Bowl but the 49ers are a seasoned veteran playoff and championship caliber roster .

Something the Cowboys haven’t accomplished in recent years despite having a roster which has been in the playoffs. But not consistently and without much proven success.

Hopefully the Cowboys after making the playoffs in back to back seasons for only the second time in 21st Century and first since 2006-2007 will begin a more consistent playoff run. We did win our first road playoff game since 1992 which is one hurdle or monkey to get off of our back.

The next and probably greatest Monkey on our back is overcoming 7 straight Divisional Round losses, the longest in NFL history. And until we do we will not be considered a playoff team expected to go deeper or further into the playoffs .

The good news is the more consistent a playoff team you become with more consecutive appearances and more wins in playoffs then you can begin to raise your expectations while also increasing your chances of finally knocking the door down.
The 49ers organization has done a way better job of fielding a team that's really good in every aspect of the game. That's why a rookie quarterback can do well in their system. It's not all on his shoulders; the team is designed to work well and to win as a team. I suspect they'll beat the Eagles.

We are never going to win another championship with this owner and the ever so slim chance we do, it will be with a quarterback NOT named Dak…..

I disagree, Prescot just had to play an average game and they'd be in Philly today, but no once again Prescot went into a meaningful game an imploded! He cost the Boys serious game winning points, not to mention he was flat out bad most of the day with his off the mark passes. His ability to read the field was horrendous with open receivers running free while he was airing it out to covered receivers on most passing plays. The 9ers don't have many weaknesses, but on the day they faced the Boys they were very beatable, unfortunately for us we didn't have a horse in a very winnable race.

The 49ers made more plays, scored more points and made less mistakes, so yes, they are more deserving. If we are going to rely on on what teams did in previous years as the benchmarks for future success, there would be no turnover in the NFL.

The Cowboys matched up well vs. the 49ers and had opportunities to best them outright. Mistakes are a critical part of football and can determine outcomes as we saw last Sunday.
Niners we’re a terrible matchup for us. When pollaed went out it was all but over.

It was a close game until that point. The Cowboys should have tried running Davis instead of throwing in the towel on offense.
Its just sad. Cowboys could have pulled this one out. Needed all hands on deck. And it was apparent that they had finally figured out pollard neede most if not all the work.

They are more deserving because they won the game vs the Cowboys. Nothing else matters. No history, nothing that happened prior this season even.

If the Cowboys had won they would have been more deserving, well, because they won.

All that other stuff is meaningless.
History and playoff experience definitely make a difference. Just check out history from the beginning till now. One example is when they first started holding the SB, the team that lost in their first appearance almost always won in their next appearance. The same often happens in conference title games. Playoff experience and big game experience always matters. That doesn’t mean that’s why we lost. In my opinion, we lost because
  • Dak threw 2 INTs, 1 a clearly bad decision
  • Maher wasn’t trusted to kick FGs till later in the game
  • We had no run game, leaving Ceedee as the only offensive playmaker
  • The defense, after McCarthy chose to punt from the SF 40 on 4th and 5 in a tie game instead of remaining aggressive, allowed a methodical time-consuming 91 yard TD drive. And after Dallas responded with a FG, allowed another 13 play, 64 yard drive for a SF FG. The truth is that as great as the defense played, down the stretch of a close game, they allowed 10 points on back to back drives that lasted 23 plays for 155 yards and ate up 14 minutes of the second half on just 2 possessions.

The first part literally means nothing. Tips the bar none. Cowboys have had tons of playoff success and sb success, where has that gotten us recently?
