49ers, Packers look to go from losing seasons to Super Bowl

The 49ers are one win away from becoming only the 2nd team to go from 12 losses to the SB. The other was the Stl Rams.

They went from 4-12 last year after Jimmy G went down. The silver lining is they picked up Bosa to shore up their defense.

The Packers also have had an impressive turnaround after finishing 6-9-1 which led to longtime HC McCarthy’s firing. They made some off season pickups on defense with Smith and Smith who combined for 25+ sacks.

These two franchises have combined for 9 SB titles. This will be their 8th meeting in the past 25 seasons, three more than any other rivalry.

In fact, the only other matchup to occur more often is Cowboys-Rams which has happened nine times.

9ers were looking much better last year until Jimmy G went down. I think everyone was expecting them to be much improved this season. Probably not 13-3 improved but probably around 10-6.

Both teams have aggressive GMs who know how to play free agency and draft. In Dallas, we just like our guys.......whoever they may be and regardless of performance.
