He's at a minimum an upgrade over Oren Burks, who was their main LB backup last year, and he is possible insurance for Dre Greenlaw coming back from an Achilles tear.

This front office is stupid and has been making extremely poor desicions for a long time which is the reason they're in this mess. Any race for a championship starts in the offseason. Look at the existing rosters, then the FA signings and then look at the draft picks. It means everything. This team is in trouble!
