Nnamdi waived to make room for Mario Manningham. Should we look?

For cheap I don't see why not, though I question how interested he is in playing football

He looked even worse in San Francisco this year than he did last year. No thanks.

Yeah and got a great return on investment.

Well, in all fairness, the Eagles didn't do great with Nnamdi either. And we were in the running for this guy. You think we're in salary cap hell now, what if he actually agreed to come here? Ouch.

I hope we can stay injury free at CB and get Claiborne back ASAP. Then, we won't need to 'look' at players like Namdi. An injury here or there and things could change very quickly. Although, I'd rather have Sterling Moore than Namdi at this juncture if we are in dire straits looking for a CB.

A couple years ago, he would have been the absolute best guy in the league to shut down Jimmy Graham

Is he better than Webb and will he play the remainder of the season at or near the vet minimum?

If so yes

Tampa nab him and set him with the dream pairing of Revis.

lol not as scary as it woulda sounded a few years back. He has been the CB that the offense is targeting these days.

Perhaps he was overrated to begin with. This is his 11th year in the league. He had 1 or fewer interceptions in 8 of those seasons. That is not counting this season where he has yet to pick off a pass. I understand he would get limited opportunities to intercept ball since teams would pick on the other defenders, but 15 career interceptions*8 in one season) is still a very low number for a guy who has started 131 games. Revis has 20 picks in 87 starts. Deion never had fewer than 2 in a season.

No way. This guy was bad in Philly and worse in San Fran. What would make him better here? End of story.
