From what I remember the game was still winnable right? We got a 4th down and they blitz

What does our fearless leader do? Throw the game away for the 2nd time this Season.

It was extremely disheartening to see. A little over five minutes left. An incompletion gives the ball back to Green Bay. You are still down by 16.

An interception gives the ball back to the Packers. Unless it is a 105-yard (slightly exaggerating) pick six, Green Bay takes over in their territory still up by 16.

A miracle touchdown cuts the lead to 10. A 2-point conversation opportunity presents itself. Achieve that and you are down by 8 with 5 minutes left in the game. Then you see if your beleaguered defense can stop the Pack's next possession and hand the ball back to you for the chance to take the game into overtime.

Fast forward in the real world. The defense gets you the ball back with three minutes left in the game for that now nonexistent overtime chance.

Rewind back two minutes in reality. It is a pretty pass that the uprights were caught by surprised thinking it was a field goal attempt just missing the crossbar.

I have missed some of Brian Schottenheimer's postgame comments. Did he take responsibility for that throwaway too? Is it officially being called a coaching blunder slash failure?

No, you can't do that, based on the looks they are giving. The defense is literally sending 4 rushers at 3 blockers it doesn't matter if the QB identifies it.
