5 Coaches Who Could Take the Cowboys to the Next Level

Vrabel interviewed with the Jets but it was only part of his negotiations with Kraft.

That hire was a done deal from the day Mayo was fired.

Vrabel is in the Patriots Hall of Fame and would have been hired when he went to Tennessee except Belichick was still there.
No good coach is coming to Dallas as long as Jerry is here. Nobody minus the puppets want to be bothered,

Don't forget the immovable objects holding the franchise hostage at the current level

What do you think about this list. I agree a defensive minded coach would be a pleasant change and the direction we should go.

The way this season is going could put the Cowboys in the market for a new head coach and coaching staff. With a veteran quarterback and established offensive talent, Dallas should be able to find a good offensive coordinator.

That being said, I want the Cowboys’ next head coach to have a defensive background. This would put someone in charge who can address the team’s biggest weakness over the last few seasons, the defense.

I don’t want this to excuse the offensive inconsistency. I’m just tired of every coaching decision being what somebody can do for Dak Prescott.

1. Kirby Smart
2. Dan Lanning
3. Marcus Freeman
4. Bill Belichick
5. Nick Saban

These are coaches the Cowboys can’t assume are available. Smart and Lanning have long-term contracts, Freeman chose Notre Dame over NFL interest last December, Belichick is fine, for now, in North Carolina, and Saban loves retirement.

You don't rain your mouth the same way about guys like Urban Meyer and thought that when the Eagles hired what's his name, wasn't he the coach for Oregon or whatever. I do realize Nick Saban already. Came in. Did he come in and fail or wait a minute, that was Urban Meyer. Petrino. I mean II, can't think of them all. That that's not true. Bill Belichick, barely. Doing anything with North Carolina? He didn't get an offer in the NFL. There's some of you are so delusional that you just keep picking out any name as long as it doesn't have. Stottenheimer's name in it. You just want him gone... I mean, some of this thing shocks me that you haven't seen how many fail. Ures that come from college. The biggest names in college that have come already in and we're in within one year, they were just stomped and kicked right back into the place they came. Hell, Harbaugh's having a problem. He left the NFL, went to Michigan to hide, came back and look at what his team is doing. This is 1 of the best coaches. In college at one time. What is he doing with the Chargers right now but everything but ruining them? You all are so delusional. You just want to pick out any name that's different than what we have right now.

You have to get the owner to fire the GM first.
