I think Garrett is the the best option as the Head Coach with Jerry as the owner.
Linehan is now fully in charge of the offense. That likely includes a being part of game management decisions
Marinelli is in charge of the defense.
Garrett has value as somebody that knows how to function with Jerry as the owner. He's not the complete push-over, zero discipline HC like Wade and he's not going to attract attention to himself like Parcells which caused Jerry to do dumb things to force the spotlight back onto to Jerry (sign TO, etc..).
The team under Garrett never quits like it did with Wade.
Garrett has been part of the trio with Stephen/McClay that has contained Jerry and improved the draft and roster (Zack Martin over Manziel, etc..). He even tried to keep Jerry from drafting Randy Gregory.
Coaches like Belicheck or Jim Harbaugh are not options with Jerry as the owner. I can live with the questionable game management which was maybe 3 decisions from all of last season over push-overs like Wade and Campo.
