Jenkins almost had one, but where is our vaunted DB's and our interceptions?

Our defense is not that good. We will not win more than 6 games if they can not make some turnovers.

The pressure up front is horrendous, Ware was not there today for most of the game. Missing Spencer is hurting them.

When we needed the D to get that last important stop at the end of the game, Balt drives it all the way down. They did force the punt on their 2nd to last drive, but we needed one more stop.

Carr has gotten abused the last two games. The PI call on Claiborne was amazingly bad. It should have been the other way......

Half of the guys here complaining about Carr were the same ones that wouldn't shut up about the "No Fly Zone" BS a while back. Come next week if Carr shuts down the Panthers WR he'll be golden again. But alas, some idiots just can't pick a side and stick with it.

NO Fly Zone! Carr beat his chest all before the season and what..nothing.

Got abused on the last Ravens drive.

Man coverage with no pressure on the QB. While our CBs are better, they're not shut down types. So with little to no pressure on the QB, it's hard for a solid/good CB to get an INT when he's chasing a WR for 4 seconds.

I thought we would see more complex zone schemes under Ryan but that hasn't happened.

we have 1 interception and 2 rushing touchdowns in 5 games. that's everything you don't want to be.

Missing Church is a killer but that said, our pass rush usually goes up field as the QB steps up for a completion.

We need more pressure but it seems we never get there in time.

The Cb play has been decent but they have not made many plays on the ball.

Overall the defense has been decent just not great, the way we need it!

but ..but.. I thought if we got good corners it would fix the defense and help the pass rush? I heard it here

this is the worst stat of the season.

Turnover differential is the worst stat, next to 2-3/1 out of the last 4.

But I get your point.

We paid $50 million for a CB who isn't a "shut down type"?

We paid $50 million for the top FA CB and got the top defensive back in the draft, but its missing Church that is killing us?

db's aren't shut down, but i'm done with ryan and his letting lb's cover wr bs.
we've seen it two games in a row and it sucks.

Are you stupid, I said the S position is problematic because Mcray is lost and thus it makes an impact on the secondary.

Second, we are not getting to the QB or making plays, so pipe down dummy!

Go overboard much?? :lmao2:

Our D simply does not cause turnovers. Even when we had a highly ranked D in '09, we didn't cause them often. Oh wait, we actually did once in the playoff game against Philly. How did that one turn out again? Yeah, it REALLY helps when a D can create a turnover or 2. Instead our D does not create them and our ST give up TDs (kickoff returns, blocked punts, etc.). I guess that leaves it all on the offense most games. No wonder why every one wants to blame Romo. He certainly (throughout most of his career) has not had help in the turnover dept, running game, or special teams. He sucks...
