12-5 record in 2022, with a 1-4 record on grass fields (of course, those are away games too, so there's that)

5 games on grass fields again this year.

McCarthy wanted to practice on grass in OTAs but the field is not doing well, so they haven't been.

Should be ready by training camp.

Is this a big deal?

Playing on grass is another myth like the away blue jersey's.

If you are good enough and want to get where you want to go. You overcome that.

Isn't TB a grass field? They won there, and an away road game for the the 1st time since the 90's. Beat TB12 who they never beat before. And was the better team.
At SF, they were not the better team that day, so what if it was on grass. There were quite a few reasons they lost that game.

Field conditions never stopped us practicing back in the high school varsity days.

Yeah I think it was just an anomaly. GB and Jax were both OT games that could’ve easily been wins. And Philly with Dak instead of Rush could have been as well though more theoretical.

The TB game put whatever grass concerns I had to bed.

it doesnt matter

unless theyre playing on sewage its not a problem

If you're too stupid to wear the right cleats, you have nobody but yourself to blame.

Both teams play on the same field weather it be grass or turf. There is no advantage for either team.

No.
Years of experience in college and\or the professional game, coupled
with the knowledge of teams' equipment staffs about fields surfaces and conditions that can occur - every NFL player has access to information to determine what is the best footwear for a particular game.

It makes a difference....not a huge difference, but it does matter. Some players don't care, others let it get to them.
weather does those OD fields in Buffalo and what not, late in the year where the wind and snow, ice etc for sure changes the games for both teams.
