Possibly Emmitt -- possibly.

Not Roger, as much as I like Roger.

The #1 person would have to be considered at least in some circles as being the greatest of all-time at their position.

Emmitt would get a little of that love.

Not Roger.

I can support the Bob Lilly choice, because there are people that consider him to be the greatest DT to play the game.

Probably Larry Allen would get some consideration also as being the best guard in the history of the NFL.

I think Teague's list and ranking is pretty solid.

Bob Lilly, Larry Allen and Emmitt Smith have to be in every list to be taken seriously. After that it's just list your personal favorites. On my list I also have Roger Staubach and Troy Aikman. But there are many many others who are right there trying to crack the top 5.

11 time Pro-Bowler and a 7 time All-Pro.

There are some that consider Larry Allen to be the greatest guard ever.

Michael Irvin will never be considered to be the best receiver ever... Roger and Troy (especially) wouldn't get any votes for being the greatest at their position.

Lilly, Emmitt and LA have to be on every list. I know of no other Cowboys that approach those three as being as overall dominant at their positions as those three are.

Bob Lilly is definitely the number one player.
After that I put Emmitt,Roger,Larry and Troy on the Cowboys Mount Rushmore.
Of course Larry will have a dip in his mouth.
