5 keys to a successful offseason

1: Get a good, starting quality RT. Flozell can hopefully come back and solidify the LT spot. If a tackle falls to us in the 1st round of the draft, we have to take them IMO. Otherwise, there are several viable options in Free Agency.

2: A free safety. My biggest draft day wish is for Michael Huff to fall to us, because he is the ballhawking FS we have been looking for.

3: A center. Hopefully, our big FA signing can be LeChrles Bentley, one of the best young centers in football.

4: A big MLB. Even if Dat comes back, we need a bigger, more physical MLB for the 3-4. Shanle has proven to be only a ST player, and James just hasnt been as consistant as I would like him to be.

5: Finally, hope and pray that BP stays. He has built this team from the ground up, and is so close to achieving his goal. I would really hate to see him go now.

I think all this retirement stuff is getting to much steam. BP WILL be back next year.

I didnt put kicker on there for 2 reasons, one is that we dont know what Suisham can do yet, and two there arent that many options as far as available kickers go

After giving $9 million signing bonus to Marco I doubt the Cowboys fork over $10+ to Bentley (who will probably be franchised).

I agree with RT and FS. At least one of these spots needs to be shored up. I could live with Keith Davis for one more year if I know the RT of the next 10 years is on the squad (and vice versa).

Linebackers in general are needed. The only mainstays I see are Ware and James. If a RT or FS is not added in round 1, then it better be a LB.

I don't see BP giving up just yet on Al Johnson. Sure that spot could be better, but the tackle spots were the real cause of most problems this year.

May not get alot of support on this but I say, If you put a good offensive line in front of him that can pass protect I think Bledsoe can do the job and get us there.

I would put Free Safety at the bottom of the list.

We need to draft one of the 3-5 Offensive Tackles that will be available in the 1st Round.
