I WISH Dak would play like Tannehill.

Tannehill knows his role and plays it to perfection. Dak thinks hes the engine when he's really just the bus driver. Tannehill knows he's the bus driver and the Titans thrive because of it.

You have to love it here...In 2016 people used "bus driver" to knock Dak's game....then by the offseason they said Dak needs to throw for 300 yards a game for us to win....now y'all want the bus driver y'all hated so much lol.

I don't care about Daks numbers like you do, Roy. I care about a winning formula, and Dak throwing the ball as much as he has lately has proved to be a losing formula.

It is hard to say Dak is a great QB, to me IMO there are only 2 "Great" qbs right now.
1.Brady
2. Mahomes
They have proved it.
3. Rodgers is great till he gets to the champ game, and seems to falter there. Or just bad luck meeting another great team
with a great defense, like TB , Giants, Seattle etc.

After those 3 you have the pretty good qb group, and Dak would be in that Group.
He is pretty good most of the time, but he has bad days, and is bad in games, then turns it on and does good lol.
So I would say he is inconsistent, really good at times, and really bad at times.
He needs to be more consistent at being good, especially in 1st half.

To me wentz would be in the sort of good group lol , and I guess we will see this year if he can rise out of that group
and if he gets to playoffs, can he play a whole game lol.
So is dak better than wentz ....yes
Is he better than goff? seems to be , but goff had won more, been to a SB and did beat dak in their playoff game,
so I have to say goff is a little better than dak or has achieved more.

And you might say well goff had better coaches, same for mahomes and brady, but that is how it is ,
with jones boys running the show dak isnt getting great coaches, so he either wins with guys like MM and kellen
or he doesnt win at all. That isnt going to change.
Chances are dak ends up like tony, good stats etc, lotta wins, but no rings.

Dak has to play good enough to win in spite of the coaching, and or defense, because those may not get any better.
I doubt either one will be great, although the defense might get good, have to wait and see.

Dak is getting pretty good in all aspects of his game. He needed the top notch WR's, but you can see all the other areas of his game improving

from what I have seen of kellen as OC, the offense is going to be pass pass pass and run occasionally.
The jones boys drafted lamb rd 1, traded for rd 1 Amari, so they want to see those guys used , I think they want more
passing also.
The jones boys paid a lot for ewok, but seem content with him getting 15 carries a game.

Even last year when they could not protect the qb from pass rush, they were still passing most downs, which was
really stupid.
The cowboys are still predictable, except when they try fake punts on their own 30, lol that fools a lot of people,
but they still didnt get a first down lol.

I think even trolls like you have figured out that great QB play is one of the keys to winning SB's. Great to know that we have that in Dak. You got a little taste of what it would look like with a bad QB AND a bad defense last year.

I suspect it was one of the big reasons the FO ponied up 40 million for 4 years in resigning our great young QB to the extension.

When Zeke rushes for at least 100 yards we are 25-4, including a playoff win. If Zeke rushes for 100 yards we are more then likely winning that game.

Now, you tell me who the engine of the Cowboys offense is.

The Cowboys dont run ZEke as much anymore because it hasnt been working. Only thing predictable about the Cowboys is running Zeke up the middle early in games. If and when Zeke can start dominating games again, then they will start running more. Until then Dak and the passing game remain the strength of the team.
