5 of the 7 Cowboy losses - those opponents are still alive as of now in the playoffs. Cards, Ravens, Eagles, Giants, Steelers.....maybe the schedule was even tougher in hindsight.

That is sad. Tells you how disappointing the Cowboys really were! Mediocre at best

AZ's win really makes me sick. With NE out of the way, this was our year and Jerry & Co. really blew it.

Philly might just take our magic carpet ride through NYG and AZ. Makes me throw up just thinking about it.

How can it be our year if all the teams that remain have beaten us?

Everyone one of those other teams have the same argument right now. Baltimore and Arizona thinks it's their year too.

Damn, if I was a Panthers fan, I'd be as pissed as we were last year. I think they had it all in place to win the Super Bowl. Solid D, great running attack, decent pass game, Steve Smith, etc.

What I meant was that at the beginning of the year we had everything in place. Then we had the HBO tv crew in for training camp, Jerry didn't sign a back up QB when it was obvious in the pre-season that Brad Johnson was not capable. Plus all the distractions...we are in the gutter.

As an experiment, Jerry should stay away from the team for a year and see what happens.

So what? In past years, we defeated the two teams that happened to advance to the Super Bowl. I'm not big on consolation prizes.

Yeah screw the excuses.

We're good enough to beat anyone but we lay down for anyone too. Especially in December.

We just come into games thinking we are so much better than the other team. Thats what happpened in the ARZ game and the first Washington game.

I still don't understand why I am still seeing comments like this.

The Dallas Cowboys don't have the ability to "turn it on" and beat anybody because they are a medicore football team.

The Cowboys are a team that lacks heart, chemistry, leadership and at this point, lacks the ability to play as a team unit.

I think we all get mesmerized by all those big names on the roster but acquiring big names doesn't always equate to acquiring the best "team".

Dallas had one of the toughest schedules in the NFL, only Pittsburgh could say it's schedule was tougher.

Because we do beat the good teams in the league maybe?

How does that equate to "The Cowboys can beat anybody but they lay down to anyone too"?

When you make a comment like that, you really belittle the effort that the teams that beat us put forth because it is an excuse.

The Cowboys are medicore and if they could "beat any team" they would be in the Playoffs.

That doesn't mean they would have success but they would be in the Playoffs if they could "turn it on and off" whenever they want.
