Well Day 2 came and went with the Cowboys only exercising one pick, Sean Lee. I think Lee was definitely one of those guys we had moon eyes for the whole draft process, and I had him as a player we'd target on Day 2. I think he'll be a great fit here and can't wait to see him play. I'm a little biased since LB is my favorite position, of course.

Day 3 is now upon us, and the Cowboys have surprised some of us by not targetting the two positions we thought we needed most: Offensive Line and Safety. Most of my favorites guys and even a few of my sleepers are gone.

Guys like John Jerry, Mike Johnson, Morgan Burnett, Myron Lewis and Alex Carrington and Linval Joseph will not be wearing the star unfortunately but good luck to them.

With that said, here are 5 guys I think the Cowboys should/would target on the final day of the 2010 Draft:

1. Bruce Campbell, OT
Height: 6-7 | Weight: 314 | College: Maryland

Campbell, at this point, is a good pick. He is #60 on Rick Gosselin's Top 100 and probably won't last till our pick but if we are as aggressive as we have been and serious about getting some linemen in here with upside, a move is possible. I don't think we'll target him, and certainly not without landing some extra picks somehow, but he he should be a consideration. It probably won't matter anyway, I think he'll be one of the first guys gone on Day 3.

2. Akwasi Owusu-Ansah, CB
Height: 6-0 | Weight: 207 | College: Indiana (PA)

AOA is still available and I still think he'd be an excellent FS conversion player, and on Day 3, the value is certainly there. We actually did show interest in him prior to the draft, so this is a real possibility. Even if we don't move him to FS and decide to have Hamlin or Ball start there, AOA adds depth at CB and bring something to special teams.

3. Ramone Harewood, OT
Height: 6-6 | Weight: 341 | College: Morehouse

Harewood is a guy that started sneaking up late, but he's gotten plenty of real interest from scouts, including ours. He's got the size we love. He's a bit of a project that allows us to start Free and see how that works without anyone breathing down his neck, which is what I think Jerry wants. Harewood has tremendous feet and a great build having been a former soccer player, but he's very green and didn't face elite competition.

4. Selvish Capers, OT
Height: 6-5 | Weight: 308 | College: West Virginia

I'll be honest here, don't know a ton about Capers and never saw him play. He also doesn't have the strength I usually like having only done 22 reps of 225, but we did take Brewster last year, who only did 23 reps. From what I've read though, Capers is an athletic tackle (former tight end) that will be a little bit of a project. A lot of his flaws seem to be technique issues that we could iron out.

5. John Conner, FB
Height: 5-11 | Weight: 246 | College: Kentucky

In the tradition of The Draft Zone, Conner makes an appearance. Given the fact that we haven't addressed safety or OL though, I think it's looking more and more like we stick with Deon for another year. That being said, I'd love to get Connor in here to help our running game and I have a soft spot for FB's, shoot me.

6. Eric Olsen, C
Height: 6-4 | Weight: 306 | College: Notre Dame

I couldn't really end it on Connor, so Eric Olsen is another guy I think we may target so we can kiss Proctor goodbye once and for all. Analysis of Olsen is kind of all over the place depending on where you look, but I like that he's a good run blocker and I love his mean streak.

You could also throw Jason Fox on this list, although I'm not high on him at all. The Cowboys might also continue to surprise and pick positions we don't expect such as another TE in anticipation of trading Bennett, a CB for depth or an OLB. Maybe even another WR? (I doubt it) I'm ready for anything.

great post, I also think we should consider aaron hernandez, TE, Florida as a possible TE/H-back if we are going to trade Bennett, plus I think with Campbell, Gilyard, and few other off the board early in the 4th, he is one of the top players still available. The guy is good and we'll need another TE type if we lose Bennett.
