He hasn't made $45 million in either of the two years the Packers have had him and won't next year. Each of those years is less than $25 million. Would make $42 in 2028 if you kept him and didn't restructure. This $45 million per year thing is kind of overblown.

Yup, 2 HOF players (one who SHOULD be in) and another pro bowler…..a BETTER running back AND a HOF caliber safety and really good DT for the price of a lesser running back……and a few extra picks too!
