1. Dak missing Cobb in the end zone in the first quarter. Had him open but made a poor throw that Cobb couldn’t catch. Should have been 7 there not 3
2. Witten’s fumble. Dallas would have had the ball in NO territory around the 40 with a first down.
3. Coopers BS call on PI in the second quarter. Would have crossed the 50 with a first down instead 10 yard penalty and the drive resulted in a punt.
4. Elliott’s fumble. I thought his elbow was down but in that case Zeke needs to hold onto the ball there he gets paid too much money to be having a big turnover at that juncture. Instead of first down around the 50 the Saints get the ball in great position and get a field goal out of it.
5.The sack on the final drive let up by Williams. That sack pretty much guaranteed they wouldn’t have enough time without a miracle play. It seems like every week Williams is giving up a an untimely sack or having an untimely drive killing penalty. He has been horrible and is a huge weak link to this line but yet keeps playing? It’s a typical Garrett coaching move. He needs to be replaced. We can talk about how good this o-line is but he is such a liability he brings them down a notch.

The fact that Saints were able to win with 4 field goals tells you this Dallas offense still has a long way to go. The first test they get they failed miserably. Saints have a formidable defense but they are also not as good as the Cowboys made them look. Cowboys will face better defenses coming up. So the jury is still out on this team. They still look like a Cowboys team in years past that shoots themselves in the foot and plays scared at times. I thought this team had too much talent to do that but maybe I was wrong.

That could be in the mix for sure. It was a bad pass thrown behind Cobb but he did have a chance to catch it. Both him and Dak failed on this play. But if Dak wants 35 million plus a year those are throws he needs to make in his sleep. Too many times we have seen him throw behind a receiver.

Hit Cobb in his chest.

#4 - Dude got paid and now he can't hold on to the ball. Jerry should have left him on the beach in Cabo.

Cobb had to turn back to try and catch the ball. If he hit him in the chest he would have caught the ball while running. It’s a throw that should have hit Cobb in stride not make him try to go across his body to catch it.

That’s a routine catch for NFL receivers. Wasn’t a perfect ball. But most certainly Should Have been caught.

The "best offensive line in football" talk needs to stop. Like the Rams game, they couldn't open holes and their defensive line was getting penetration too often.

They need to replace Williams. If they can have that position just hold its own it would make the line that much better. He is dragging them down. How long do they keep running him out there?

Turning back to where his chest was. It wasn't a perfect throw that lead him, but it's a fine throw that is caught 99% of the time. There was also a defender to the receivers left that you see enter the screen immediately after the drop. Dak made that throw in his sleep, only narratives say otherwise.

Yup. That list is on point.

Can't go into the Superdome, miss on redzone attempts and lose the turnover battle and expect to win.

Yes he should have still caught but Dak made the catch more difficult. They both failed there IMO.

The Saints were in cover 2 and the corner was right there in the flat. Looks like Cobb should have throttled it down. If Dak leads him the corner would have blown him up. Not making excuses but I think Dak read it right.

We can agree to disagree no big deal. I felt the ball should have been thrown in stride that would have been the better throw.

Hit Cobb in his chest.
Actually hit him in the earhole area to be exact. That is not the chest for sure. However, that was the window Dak had to throw in and any farther ion front has to go over the DE head and would have gotten batted. That is a pass Cobb has to cathc and is his fault.

You have to add the bogus PI on Cooper on the last drive. I’m still trying to figure out that one especially since the ball was not even catchable.
