5 questions ahead of the final OTA

It's not about a question mark, maybe you missed a point!!

first of all ,

we have two new players at linebacker while we're waiting on Overshown to come back, but I don't even know if he comes back he's going to be the green dot guy, He's not really a middle linebacker so you keep bringing up middle linebackers and they're not the only ones who wear the green dot by the way.

but you're missing the point,

they both need to get equal time being the play caller, just like at center; hoffman needs as much of the time on the field to get used to the line calls as Cooper BB, they need to both know as much as possible in case they're forced into a game because of injury, or when you're doing rotations,

so stop with the nonsense I don't want to hear about your opinion about there's so many??? there less than you think..

we do we already know Sanborn can be a green dot guy , he was already Matts Defense.. Just like when Kendricks came here he immediately because he knew Mike's Defense that he was likely gonna be that guy that doesn't mean there wasn't other guys practicing it just in case he missed games or needed a blow somebody else needs to know the damn position!!!!!!

You're making a mountain out of a molehill like all these other fans who question everything and act like they don't know what they're doing!!

the coaching staff know,

they have a plan they already ,know who they want and they're going to give them equal time on the field just in case,
after last year, are you serious!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
you know how many injuries we had on D alone, it pretty much wrecked the season,
you got to have all your players that could be flex into positions they all need to have a chance in camps and OTA's to play multiple positions just in case especially at quarterback, center, and yes the green dot guy, and you know what in the years past I saw Dan Quinn allow the safety to do that he didn't necessarily even have to be the linebacker, i'm pretty sure Kearse at one time who was technically a strong safety who plays some linebacker but he was not a middle linebacker!!!
middle linebackers are not undersized safeties,
so whatever you think in your mind you're seeing your hearing or what you think you know I'm disagreeing with you. They have a plan and whatever you're hearing is what they want you to hear but you're absolutely misinterpreting what's going on at camps... you don't understand that's exactly what practice is for; to get more players involved, even if they're going to be backups at knowing what their job would be should to be forced into starting.

It's just comical that I have to explain that to you,

but that's all right you could disagree with me but I'm telling you that's what you're seeing you're seeing multiple players get chances to practice with the green dot ,

you're getting to see what the coaches want you to see but they need to practice it just in case they're forced into it I'm pretty sure they know going into this that Sanborn's going to be the starting middle linebacker and I have no problems with that at all.

Did really a problem having a guy get a chance to beat that guy out and also if he is number two to learn to position learn to play calls I don't get why didn't you think this is a problem because it's not....

By the way you do realize that Zach Baughn was a bargain basement pretty much hadn't had anything really to consider achievements as a middle linebacker but he came into the Eagles who also started two rookie corners on defense and it worked out for them but don't think the back of their mind didn't have? There that linebacker didn't have much of a career before he got there they were risking a lot just like they were wrong about Huff...

All teams will have some? Sure but I'm sure there were some other people in camps and OTA's that were competing with him he didn't get handed to the job not with that resume don't try to act like they knew what they were getting when they got it because they did not he was no different than Sanborn or Kendrick's the Cowboys did it so do other teams they took a risk on a guy they thought would fit their defense if it worked out for them...
ROFL. all that lol typing to say nothing. You responded to my post kiddo. If you don't wanna hear my takes simply do not do that and all will be well. You aren't the OP here.....

A 55 years old don't call me any nick names ,it's inappropriate but I'm no kid I'm telling you what my opinion is that you're off base and that you're absolutely wrong is that short enough for you I think whatever you're seeing or hearing you're not interpreting it correctly if you don't understand what I'm saying and you don't agree with me that's fine that's actually facts whatever I said in there even if it was long winded Rambo they're all facts and I'm not absolutely worried about any of those positions..

Yes you've been challenged now you're gonna start calling me a kid no I think you're wrong I think whatever you're seeing or hearing come out of camp you're misinterpreted it doesn't matter it won't matter all that matters is what the coaches think and what the coaches plan that's all that matters...

next

The Internet GM's around here become very monotonous it gets old and tedious y'all could think what you want it won't matter you could say what you want it won't matter all it matters is what's going on on the field that the coaches see and they'll interpret it the proper way and you will see a solid team put on the field in their minds that can win they're going to put the best players in the best positions but we have a long way to go before September for fans to be worried about who's wearing a green dot and who they saw wearing it at practice or OT A's OMG the season's over because you've seen more than one helmet with a green dot on it with a player wearing it wearing in big trouble because Terrell thinks we're in trouble.lol.

respectfully ....

Sanders making a push for RB1 --this means your RB room is trash so no, not likely. He has topped 180 carries 1 time in his career and was immediately let go in FA following that season.
Not necessarily trash. The heir apparent for RB1 is blue, he will probably end the year with most touches by all RBs but it will be by committee to start. I think we put too much emphasis on RB1 vs RB2 especially in ulahorts and jersey.

Which player gets the green dot at LB --This means you lack a true MLB.
If the team itself questioned this you might have a point. But a beat writer or fan asking the team what their thoughts are in it means nothing.
Can Spann-Ford make a push for TE2 --Only if injury drives this.
Tend to agree with you, but he will get plenty of playing time I suspect.
Where does Thomas fit in the secondary --3rd safety.
Should be the Nickle. He won't though.
What does Leupke's role look like -- this is wasted breath, he is a fringe part of roster. half his snaps will be ST.
Team sees him as a TE type role. Probably allows them to keep 4 RBs

I'm not sure why some are thinking that Williams is a shoe-in for the #1 spot. Seems most who think that are banking that he will be back to his pre-injury rookie form w/o looking at the fact that he was barley better than 2024 Zeke last season
Just make sure you let Jerry know this as well!! I hear you loud and clear

Various:
Sanders is washed. He has had 3.7 and 3.3 YPC seasons back-to-back..... As a speed back that's when you call it a career.
If he is considered for RB1 duties than yes, the RB room is trash. FWIW, I don't think he will be.
In fact, I think he is battling Deuce for the last RB spot and likely ends up cut.
I disliked the Blue draft pick, but he is absolutely RB2 by default and you'd love him to be RB1B by year's end.

Correct. If the team doesn't know who will wear the green dot that is a very real issue and not in a good way. A beat writer not knowing just means they aren't very good at their job if the team does. Or more realistically they were forced/tasked with creating this list to meet a quota and put zero thought into it. I sure hope Eberflus has been communicating heavily with his green dot holder.

BSF looks like he has an NFL career ahead of him but so did John Paul Stephens and other lightly or undrafted TE prospects... and we saw how that went. Dallas isn't giving up on Ferguson or Schoon this year. BSF has a chance to emerge next year or in case of injury. But its just as likely if not moreso that they draft a TE next year in rounds 1 or 2 again if thyer let Ferguson walk in FA....

Luepke if he is RB4/TE4 then yea that makes TE snaps that much tougher to get. But his snaps aren't going to change much. He isn't a RB1 or even RB2 option. But he is the only option as fullback and his ST spans makes him viable long-term. He is on all 4 special teams' groups. Returns and covers.
