Who has been retired for 2 years and will sign for peanuts? That’s little Stevie’s guy

Depends on what we want
I really think that Jerry is looking at the clock which is why Nolan was key go after only 1 year despite being MM buddy

we need to sign one of the 4 above along with Tomlinson in FA

I don’t expect any major splashes in free agency.
It’s the same every year hope for a big name to come. But nope. We’re not asking for 4-5 guys but a big name one of our need positions would do wonders

Williams for 8 to 10, for a player with 13 ints and over 30 PD in 4 seasons? Several sources here in Louisiana are expecting him to get 14 to 15 and a major reason why the Saints are going to have to let him leave!

I always shoot the under on safeties. But I’m usually wrong.

Going against him this year is Maye and Simmons. So three solid players getting paid

If you pay Maye more then you’re paying for name recognition and not production because it’s only been half that of Simmons and Williams! Williams at 24 vs Simmons at 27 should make Williams quite appealing to many teams!

He was embarrassed enough to fire the DC after one year. Jerry's now paying him for nothing. That's an extreme measure for a man who kept Garrett on for 10 years.

Meh..I'm not buying that..somebody had to take the sword

In addition, I'd be shocked, if the franchise changed their entire outlook on free agency..they don't believe in getting better via free agency..tack on the lack of funds and it's even more unlikely..I do hope you are right though

They dont have to change their entire outlook. Its funny they want flexible this and multiple that but their philosophy is stuck. Typical Jerry and silver spoon

When your outlook is that free agency isn't a tool to improve your roster, it requires an entire change

achilles tear on a 4.5/40 safety is troubling.
Also it happened during this past season.

I have doubts he will be ready for September.

Same with Hooker.

We really need someone who can participate in mini camps in the new scheme. Full camp at bare minimum.

Not sure I see that for either of them.
