With 5 seconds left Philly had 3 guys rushing and 8 guys at the goal line. 5 seconds is plenty of time to run a 7-10 yard out, and give our O, a much better opportunity to score. Also, on the last Offensive play if you are going to throw to CD you need a receiver running in the opposite direction short of CD, so CD can pitch it back to them.
We should have been able to run a QB sneak on the Schoonmaker play. Philly would have run the QB sneak FOR SURE if they were in the same situation. Tom Brady was almost as successful as Philly with the QB sneak. Dak is a big strong guy. We should have relied on the QB sneak in that situation not a rookie TE.
The turning point in the game was the ticky tack hold on Schoonmaker in the 3rd quarter when we were in FG range.The hold did not take place until the running back was past Schoonmaker. The defender flopped to get the call.
Finally, the Defense played terrible in the 3rd quarter and just okay in the 1st half, and the Dak haters only talk about Dak.
