Strange, the title makes it sound like a fabulous production.

Pretty much any horror movie rated PG-13, could make this list. Many on the list fit that tongue-in-cheek, so bad it is good, category. I find that when you make them PG-13 so teenagers can go see them, and are trying to make them a real horror movie, they usually suck.

"The Killer Shrews" is the worst movie I've ever seen so it takes the horror prize as well. They had dogs dressed in little hair overcoats running all over the island and a dummy head of a Killer Shrew and the mouth didn't even move. The dogs were so embarrassed the hand to tie pork chops to the knees of the actors to get the dogs to chance them. And to top it off, the guy that bankrolled it, Gordon McLendon, played the Mad Scientist.

Some on here I liked,
- House of Wax
- Dreamcatcher
- Ghost Ship
- The Haunting
- Wicker Man with Nic Cage (I didn't know this was so panned, I kinda liked it)

Same. I liked Dreamcatcher a lot. Especially the first time I watched it. Tad gorey. Thomas Jane, Damian Lewis, Freeman, Sizemore etc, it had a good cast.
Think the plot could of been better but overall I disagree with it's low ratings.

Put me down for the " Blair Witch Project." .. especially because it was incredibly over hyped as i've ever seen a horror movie advertised.
Worse was every day word of mouth citizens urging it as a " Must See "

i was so stunned how awful it was, i stood and stared at the blank theater screen as the lights came on, and all theater viewers departing
as if this can't be happening to me !! ... LOL

I think the people who thought it was a great movie fell for the premise that it was actually based on video footage that was found in the woods...in which case it would've been awesome. Unfortunately, the first person, shaky video thing was staged, of course, so it was just another hard to watch crappy movie.

One of Robert Shaw's last movies... Maybe his last.

Also Bo Derek gets a leg bitten off.

Not a great movie by any stretch, but I've seen a lot worse.

Not a great movie.

But I enjoyed it.

I enjoyed the "out in the wild-back & forth" between the 3 characters. They acted like how 3 people in that situation would act.
