Before the season started I bet my friend that the Cowboys would have a better record than the Steelers.

We bet 500 dollars on it.

A tie would result in a push.

Playoffs don't come into account at all, nor do tiebreaker situations.

They've got Oakland, Cleveland, and Miami up on their schedule.

Green Bay and a rematch with Baltimore.

We win next week and you can pretty much count on it as an Xmas bonus, or a helluva funding source for a New Year's day hangover.

My brother is a huge Stealer fan. Before the season we sit down and go over the schedule. I figured they would go 13-3 at worst and there would be no way we swould have a better record than them. Their schedule was pretty easy for the most part. It's not over yet, but you are looking good entering the home stretch! Good luck.

My brother who llives in Dallas and who hates the Cowboys made a bet with me that his favorite team, the Chargers, will beat the Cowboysl. The bet is for 100 bones...and I hope to hell I don't have to pay!!

Considering the Bengals would be "easy" was part of where most of us missed the boat. That's 2 of the losses right there.

Just think, 2 of the 3 Cincy losses were on fluke plays....especially the Denver one on the last play of the game. Their 8-3 could very easily be 10-1. Not bad.

I have the same bet with a green bay fan/friend, except it's only for a $100.

Best record wins... that game vs the Packers didn't help, but I am still 1 game ahead.

:laugh2: I did the exact same thing with my cousin (a die hard Steelers fan), he gives me grief all day, I couldn`t be happier, I HATE that f****** team.

Good luck!

I lost TWO $100 bets to a good friend of mine last season...he's a huge Steelers fan. Lost $100 on our head to head game. We also had a long-standing (years) $100 bet on which of our teams would be first to get the 6th SB ring.

Man you ALWAYS have to double the loss estimate after a Super Bowl year. The hangover is real.
