I think Battle edges out Thompson at #3 RB (just a hunch) and I think (fill-in-the-blank) will edge out Tony Curtis at #3 TE.

the reason I think Thompson returns is because he's a pretty good KR, but I'm not setting his roster spot in stone, I just think it's real likely that he'll be one of the KRs

I also think Elam takes Killer's job this year. We've been stockpiling good special teamers for awhile, making him expendable.

Not sure Curtis makes the 53 man roster either. If he's still eligible, I think we try to keep him on the practice squad. He's not exactly tearing it up over in Europe. He seems to be more of a project than anything else.

Is Hoyte still eligible for the practice squad? I thought You were no longer eligible after a certain number of regular season games? If so, I think Hoytes future is in jeopardy, as it certainly seems he'll have his hands full with Anderson and a surprizingly undrafted Battle.

The only way I see this happening is if Stanback's return ability blows the doors off of Thompson's. I'm not sure if that will happen, but who knows.

The only way I see this happening is if Stanback's return ability blows the doors off of Thompson's. I'm not sure if that will happen, but who knows.

My feeling is based on the fact that I think Phillips and Garrett wwill be leaning toward more of a power-running game as opposed to the zone stuff that Parcells seemed to prefer and I think Battle would have more to offer in that scheme that thompson would.

I have no confidence that Curtis is anything more than a project that didn't work. I expect either Hannah (another project) or Thorn or even a guy off the street, to beat him out.

When you're running second-string in Europa, it doesn't instill much 'confidence'.....

Are either of the two returning FBs eligible? I don't think so but I'm not sure.

I agree about the OL. If we're going to keep two kickers and three QBs we'll have to go short somewhere. Even if we keep two QBs and one K we'll likely go long at CB and LB than OL.

I think these will be toughest TC cuts we've seen in quite some time. It's a good thing but still rough.

Well, even if they move to a power back, they still have Jones and Thompson. Thompson has show alot of ability, but hasn't had enough opportunity. Jones on the other hand has had several years, and still has yet to perform at a high level consistently.
