I dont think Brett Pierce makes the roster, unless he's the long snapper and I forgot.

I would also guess one of the 7th round OL makes the roster.

Pretty close to what I'd pick right now, but why are you pencilling in Parham? Fowler will make the team. He showed last year that he'd make a pretty decent backup and is a quality special teamer.

I don't think so.

Who would you cut?

I can't see us going with 10 offensive lineman.

I think both end up on the practice squad.

Yeah that does look pretty close to what it will be.
Now, for extra credit give us the practice squad....:laugh2:

I was ready to blast you for only having two NT, but you squeezed Johnson in at the bottom. I'd say thats a pretty realistic prediction you put together.

I think Kalen Thornton makes it over Singleton due to salary and age. Thats me just hoping though
I think Nate Jones job is in jeopardy due to Coleman and Reeves overlapping skills. I hope Beriault shows enough to make the roster.

Very probable

Pretty fair estimate. I think the "rust" is knocked off. The question will be do they want Henson holding on FGs and PATs. They may not. If Bledsoe went down, no doubt in my mind Henson would get the look.

Got a feeling we drop Pierce and keep Polite. Or maybe I just hope so. Pierce to the PS? Not sure.

With Gurode again a possible OG, good assumptions here.

I'm gonna disagree here. Beriault to backup Roy at SS and Keith Davis makes the team over Marcus Coleman and backs up Watkins at FS. Davis sticks because of ST contributions.

Probably right on the money though I'd love to hang on to Fowler and move Boiman outside in place of Singleton. Yeah I know Singleton was hard to replace, but Boiman is a ST contributor and is younger.

Given you have Pepper Johnson and Jay Ratliff still on below, not a bad assumption at all. Although 8 D-Linemen in a mostly 3-4 scheme is a bit high with only keeping 5 CBs given they go down and there are Nickel and Dime Packages to think about. Not sure I'd disagree with you, just saying if we add a CB or 2 someone in this list plus the 2 below will be gone.

I hope we don't need a Kickoff Specialist. This might be where Marcus Coleman makes the roster and plays some CB, which I think he's played before.

All in all an outstanding effort.

Thornton and or Burnett will be in the mix. don't think a kick off specialist is in the plan

Singleton's salary is too high to be a backup. Ryan Fowler will be a backup ILB, and Boiman is a backup OLB in place of Singleton. The rest is pretty close.

put bereault on the ps.

no even u forget Beriault is a SS not FS, if anything i think he gets the backup role on SS behind Williams and on top on that he is a monster on ST.

I agree.

I don't agree with it 100%, but it's the best so far.

QB:

1. Bledsoe
2. Romo
3. Henson

RB:

4. JuJo
5. MBIII
6. Thompson

* since we aren't keeping a FB (possibly) we might keep an extra RB.

WR:

7. T.O.
8. Glenn
9. Crayton
10. Green
11. Austin Miles (I think Copper's days are numbered)

TE:

12. Witten
13. Fasano
14. Hannam
15. Ryan/Pierce (whichever is healthiest)

T:

16. Adams
17. Fabini
18. Petitti
19. Columbo

G:

20. Kosier
21. Rivera
22. Peterman

C:

23. Johnson
24. Gurode

DE:

25. Ellis
26. Spears
27. Canty
28. Hatcher

* Ratliff might possibly make the team too. He did well on the nickel last year.

NG:

29. Ferguson
30. Stanley
31. Johnson

OLB:

32. Ware
33. Carpenter
34. Boiman
35. Thornton (someone could take this spot from him)

ILB:

36. James
37. Ayodele
38. Fowler (he stays)
39. Parham (if our LBs don't do good enough in coverage we may keep Shanle)

CB:

40. Newman
41. Henry
42. Glenn
43. Reeves
44. Jones

S:

45. Roy
46. Coleman
47. Davis
48. Watkins

KOS:

49. Whoever.

K:

50. Vanderdrunk

P:

51. McBriar

LS:

52. Ladacuer

That's 52 players. The 53rd will either be Ratliff or an extra LB. Possibly even Polite. Just cuz we'll mainly run a 2 TE set doesn't mean we'll never use a FB.

I think that, for at least early in the season, Kalen Thornton would get on the roster before Hatcher does, since he's supposed to be such a project, or so they say. I don't know anything about the kid, but I know I like Thornton.

1. Hatcher and Thornton don't even play the same position.

2. Hatcher is a long term project. They aren't going to cut him. Period.

Getting a kick off specialist is going to mean that someone useful will be cut. Unless we can find someone who can consistantly get the ball into the endzone on kickoffs, I'd rather keep a LB, DL, or S.
