How can Jerry justify paying in June 3 (Owens) Million roster bonus and 5Million next season. This guy did not even make the Pro Bowl. I know alot of good players don't make the PB but this isn't just any player. This guy was brought to Dallas to be a difference maker not just a regular player.

He is an emotional football player that wants to win more than anyone else on the field. If some of you find fault in that, so be it.

He hasn't done anything good or bad this last year to deserve all the attention he's getting with fans here, and from media across the country. He had a really good, not great, but really good season last year and should have an even better year ahead of him.

You know what would be cool?

It would be cool if I could turn my car radio on, or come here to have intelligent debate, without hearing or reading the same recycled BS about how Owens is the devil, and how he isn't a good teammate, and how he has torn two teams apart and now working on his third victim.

Come up with your own oipinion, instead of recycling some story from Philly or San Fran and trying to make it stick in Dallas.

Owens didn't belong in the pro bowl!!! He was a human drive killer all season. I lost count of how many crucial passes he flat out dropped, including the potential game winning bomb against Washington.
He was a distraction all year starting in training camp.
Either by game plan or through his play he was non-existent in the playoff game.

Interesting stat per NFLN.

Only 3 players have led the league in TD catches last 22 years and not made the Pro Bowl.

It's actually three in 37 years since the AFL-NFL merger in 1970. The other two were Daryl Turner in 1985 (he had 13 TDs but only 34 catches for 670 yards) and Michael Jackson in 1996 (he tied Tony Martin, who did make the Pro Bowl).

Owens is the first former Pro Bowl player to lead the league in receiving TDs and not make the Pro Bowl that season.
